Hospital board
Regarding the article “Letter: ‘Enemies’ hurting hospital” (Sept. 1):
This has gone from pitiful to downright disgraceful. First, the Greenwood Leflore Hospital Board members blame racism. Then they blame the public. Now they blame a few people who are making a decent wage.
I’m sure the people came up through the ranks to get where they are.

Regarding the article “Foster: Don’t blame us for problems” (Aug. 24):
Instead of the critical remarks, the people who have all the answers and solutions to the problems at Greenwood Leflore Hospital should apply for the job.
We, as a people, should pray for these leaders, no matter what color they are, and be more concerned about trying to help fix the problems than to make things worse by being critical. We all need GLH.

Regard Gerald Glass’ letter to the editor (“Not racist to question hospital board,” Aug. 31):
Gerald Glass, maybe you should have done some investigation on the Greenwood Leflore Hospital Board. The money problems started with the previous board members.
Now that the board only has three members who happen to be black, the hospital has all these problems.
Two hundred white people showed up to intimidate them. If two hundred blacks showed up, they would have called the police. And then an innocent person would have been shot in the back.
So, Gerald, do what you came back to do: coach.

Regarding the Greenwood Leflore Hospital Board members’ letter to the Commonwealth (“Disgruntled few are sowing hospital discord,” Sept. 1):
First, the race card. Didn’t work. Second, try conspiracy theory with unnamed conspirators. Totally implausible and won’t work.
What’s the next excuse from this group? Aliens?
