Regarding the firing of Greenwood School Superintendent Montrell Greene:
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. knew his people well when he said way back in 1963, “In the process of gaining our rightful place, we must not be guilty of wrongful deeds. Let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterness and hatred.”

We were recently returning from Greenwood, off Mississippi 7 North, on Teoc Road in Carroll County. Just beyond old Teoc, where the road rises, near Carroll County Road 126, we saw this huge black bird with a capture in his claws, which it dropped on the road.
We slowed to a near stop, and as it flew over us, we noticed its full white head and huge feet and claws.
