In regard to terrorism, it’s no longer someone else’s problem. It’s all of our problem, and all of us have a responsibility in our safety.
Law enforcement can’t be everywhere at once, but those of us who live in these communities can.
If you see something, say something. It makes no difference how insignificant it may seem. Speak up. It could save someone’s life.

Regarding Bill Burrus’ column about Mississippi State football coach Dan Mullen (“Mullen must amp up recruiting to keep up with rival,” Dec. 6):
Just wondering why every year you hear Mullen’s name come up for a new coaching job somewhere. Why don’t you ever hear Hugh Freeze’s name thrown around?
Just sayin.
