Working poor
Regarding the comment in “My Two Cents” about the “working poor” (Oct. 12):
I’m 27 years old and bring home $1,100 a month. My health insurance is $149 a month. Many of my friends are in similar, if not worse, situations.
We are classified as the working poor but don't receive any government “handouts.”
Misinformation is a dangerous thing.
Oh, yea, none of us have babies!

Regarding the article “Suddenlink not dropping Fox News” (Oct. 18):
Suddenlink won’t say whether its “new fee arrangement” with Fox will mean increased subscriber rates? Anyone who has been a customer of theirs for more than five minutes knows the answer to that question.
