Johnny Langdon Sr. has served his 29 years and is now gone. Why is his picture in the paper every day? Why is he still being talked about? Now ministers have something to say? Who are you to say he was wrong?
A man of God wouldn’t have a comment at all, but since it was about Mayor Carolyn McAdams, you have something to say. Please save it. Let the man rest and move on with his happy life.
How about a story on building some more houses (not on the north side) or fixing up the rest of Greenwood?

Of course, Johnny Langdon Sr. acted inappropriately, but where did all that anger come from?
What is going on downtown? Why is the mayor spending time at the Police Department? Do they need to be tended?

Oh, come on, Greenwood, when will all of this stop? You have a disgruntled employee, and now it is that his boss is the Antichrist? Grow up!
Carolyn McAdams has made more progress for Greenwood in the last four years than Greenwood has had in the last 20.
Mayor McAdams, keep up the great job and work you are doing for the city of Greenwood. Do your job! We appreciate it.

Teacher pay
Regarding the editorial “Teachers have been getting raises” (Jan. 26):
Most of us can agree that teaching is hard work, harder than it used to be. But requests for increased funds to pay teachers should start with the truth.
Those legislators who have been persuaded to just plain lie about this issue should be outed publicly and called to account for the misinformation they’ve spread. They evidently don’t believe their voters are smart enough to become educated on the issues.
