Wasteful spending
I will exhibit facts to prove the taxpayers work for Greenwood politicians.
Exhibit No. 1: Note that the taxpayers furnish each department head one or more vehicles, with expenses paid to travel to and from their ivory towers. I’m glad our mayor felt guilt and gave her vehicle to the Police Department.
Exhibit No. 2: A new scheme by a supervisor allowed him to throw a big party for his supporters, with the taxpayers picking up the tab. This practice is wrong and dishonest.
Exhibit No. 3: Those with any doubt, visit Baptist Town and ask some person living in poverty what the local politicians are doing for them.
I could go on and give more examples of out-of-control spending.
Unless citizens start speaking with outrage, the taxpayers will continue to be robbed.
I hope all citizens will wake up and elect leaders who stop the wedge between the races. Black folks and white folks will always need each other in hard times.
