Initiative 42
The Greenwood School District must have plenty of money, since it gave the superintendent’s wife a plush position at central office.
I would like to see the Commonwealth publish a list of central office employees with their responsibilities and salaries.
Vote against Proposition 42. They have money to waste.
Sad ain’t it honey
Republican debate
What? You wrote no editorial about the Republican debate Wednesday night. What a surprise.
My wife and I were provided with many laughs by that bunch. Seriously, is there anyone in this country who thinks that the people who vote Republican, will ever vote for someone whose last name is Rubio or Cruz or vote for someone who is black?
I have not been disappointed with these debates. I will be counting each day until the next one.
After a very hard day at work, I find that laughter relieves some of my stress. Thank you, Republicans.

Beth Jackson letter
This is in response to the letter to the editor on Oct. 27 by Beth Jackson (“Jewish people are not the aggressors”).
I was reading with interest all the way till I got to the place where the president of the United States was compared to Hitler, Herod and Pharoah in trying to destroy Israel.
Maybe Ms. Jackson is not aware of the fact that President Obama has done more for the protection of Israel than any president since it became a state in 1948, from the Iron Dome to increased aid. That is a fact. It’s documented. Look it up.
You won’t find this information on Fox News. You will have to educate yourself elsewhere.

Sarah Taylor
I wanted to send this clarification as a follow-up to Tim Kalich’s op-ed column about Sarah Taylor (“A conversation with Sarah,” Oct. 25).
No homes were demolished for the Baptist Town cottages to be built. Each home sits on what was previously a vacant lot.
