America’s decline
I often think of the way things were when I was a child back in the 1950s and 1960s and the way they are now.
Everybody stayed out until dark playing and we never had to lock our doors. How could times change so drastically?
Some differences now are due to the left-wing agenda taking God out of everything, legalized abortion, people “chained” (as Vice President Biden says) to the government and not having any self-respect, disturbed people who cannot decide if they’re male or female, men marrying men, women marrying women, and so on.
All this PC crud has ruined this country.
Are these the rights that young men and women fought and gave their lives for?
And to African-Americans, who are 90 percent Democratic, is this what your ancestors went through so Mexicans, Muslims and everybody else can come here and have more rights and freedom than you do without shedding a drop of blood?
They will one day take over this country, and those of us who oppose all of this are called racists and bigots.
These liberal politicians don’t care about you or this country. All they want is your vote so they can keep their power and money.
Granted, I don’t put all the blame on the Democrats. Republicans haven’t lifted a finger to stop any of this.
So I just want to ask, Is this what you really want?

House Bill 1523
Regarding the article “Methodist leaders object to new law” (April 26) concerning House Bill 1523 about people who prefer the same sex:
What Bible do these Methodists study? In 1st Corinthians 6:10, Apostle Paul addresses sinners. It states that homosexuals will not inherit the kingdom of heaven.
Instead of trying to be politically correct, they should try to save them from heaven’s alternative.
