Regarding the article “Oliver taking heat for email” (March 18):
In the immortal words of Bugs Bunny, “What a maroon!” I'm assuming that state Rep. Karl Oliver, R-Winona, is a representative example of Mississippi’s public education system?

Signs
I think the sign at the corner of Front Street and Fulton Street needs to be moved up or repainted. Or a lot of drivers need a driver’s test.
Every time I go by the sign on Front Street that says “right turn only,” the vehicle in front of me holds up traffic because the driver is going straight across Fulton Street or turns left on Fulton.
And the one-way street behind the Leflore County Courthouse is being used as a two-way street. The drivers are exiting onto Fulton Street. There was nearly a head-on collision there a few days ago.
Maybe I need a new route.
