Turner execution
My comments regarding the execution of Hart Turner are directed to Chris Epps and Roy Curry.
Mr. Epps’ comment regarding Hart Turner appearing not to be mentally ill was totally out of his scope or field. He is in no way qualified to make that call.
The comment by Mr. Curry expecting some kind of apology from the Turner and Stewart families is not only far-fetched but irrational. These families did nothing to apologize to anyone. Hart Turner committed these crimes, not his family.
If anyone owes an apology to anyone, it’s you two men.
May God give all involved the peace and comfort they need to find closure.

Regarding the comment in “My Two Cents” (Feb. 10) about Murrell Stewart.
Stewart did admit guilt at the trial. He turned state’s evidence and pointed the finger to the killer. He had to make a choice — either go to trial and possibly be put to death or turn state’s evidence. He made the right choice.
He said he would not admit to something he didn’t do, so he did the right thing.
Get your facts straight before you put your fingers on the keyboard.
AIDS detection
There are all types of articles being printed in “My Two Cents.” Some of these are good.
The reason for saying this is because there are many of us out there who are carrying diseases and don’t even know it.
We, as a whole, need to go get ourselves checked out for our safety and for the safety of others.
AIDS is out there.

‘Blue’ Neal lawsuit
Regarding the article “Neal sues board for ‘conspiracy’” (Feb. 9):
This sounds like a job for Carlos Moore to me. I can’t believe he isn’t involved. But it’s still early.
