Hugh Freeze
I’m glad we didn’t have social media at the time of King David and his affair with Bathsheba. The press would have smeared his faith to where we would have never had the beautiful book of Psalms.
There’s some mighty judgmental articles out there about former Ole Miss football coach Hugh Freeze. Obviously the writers have no concept of the Christian faith. Last time I checked, there’s only been one sinless man, ever, to walk this earth, and he was crucified by all the judgmental hypocrites of the faith.
Grace and mercy are lacking in our society. Accepting Jesus Christ as your personal savior does not mean you’re going to live a sinless life. I’m eternally grateful that my God is a forgiving God. We should all reread King David’s words of old — forever true.

Union vote
The folks who work for Nissan in Canton can vote to bring in the union if they want to, although I don’t know why they would. What they would be doing is voting on whether or not to give a percentage of their pay to some greedy union bosses up North. It makes no sense.
Mississippi is a right-to- work state. Nissan is under no obligation whatsoever to even acknowledge the existence of the United Auto Workers.
If the folks in Canton do vote to bring the union in and start causing a bunch of trouble about their jobs, Nissan will simply close up shop, pick up its toys and go home. If that happens, the folks who work in Canton will be drawing a check from us, and it won’t be for as much as they were making when they were working.
Not having the union harassing them is why Nissan came to Mississippi in the first place. Y’all be smart. Tell the union to take a hike and save your jobs in the process.
