Regarding the website article “Dr. Smith, another man charged with plotting to kill Lee Abraham” (April 29):
Dr. Arnold Smith is mad because Mr. Abraham represented Smith’s ex-wife in a divorce in the 1990s. I have also heard that Mr. Abraham represented William Paul Muller’s ex- wife in a divorce in the late ’90s or early ’00s.
Both men tried to hold a grudge all these years, and look where it got them.
I am glad Mr. Abraham was not injured. He is one of the most respected men I know and does a lot for this community.

I am so thankful Lee Abraham is all right. I just can’t believe anyone would want to harm or say anything derogatory against Lee, Sam or Magdalene Abraham. The Abrahams are the sweetest, most caring people around (for all people ). For anyone to be so evil to do these things is beyond me.
God keep them safe from all evil.

When you “ignore” the crazy behaviors of your favorite local eccentrics, it’s bound to turn on you.
Just because somebody is a good ole boy doesn’t mean they are incapable of extreme antisocial behavior.
We can prevent tragedies by refusing to ignore what is just plain bad behavior by our fellow citizens.
When we act as if it is OK to be crazy, then crazy behavior is what we will get.

Does anyone read the Bible these days? I know for a fact that one of God’s commandments is: Thou shall not kill.
Why do people have so much anger and hatred in their hearts, so much that they would take another person’s life?
God did not put us here on this earth for all that. He put us here to love one another and respect one another.
I think if people had more forgiveness and understanding in their life and, most of all, put the Lord ahead of their life, the world would be a better place then what it is.

I would like to know how Lee Abraham and the attorney general’s office knew of a possible attempt on his life? It is funny how they just happened to be at his office when these guys came in.

This sounds like an episode of “City Confidential.”
