Flag billboard
Regarding the article “Company will remove pro-state-flag billboard” (Oct. 1):
Worst lie-spreading paper around. They will twist your comments to work in their favor.
Oh, and the editor, Tim Kalich, keep your nose out of people’s business. Have a good one!

They want to turn everything a group stands for into lies and make the people who are actually doing the wrong seem like good people. I feel like they don’t want to tell the truth.
How about how the Save the Flag group donated flags for the schools in Leflore County to fly? They won’t publish this story. I feel like they discriminate.

I gave two interviews concerning the Greenwood public schools not flying the state flag at all but one school, neither of which was published.
This newspaper started the story (“State flag not flying at some schools,” Sept. 2) reporting they were taken down but refuses to inform the same school district that flags are available to them at no cost (donation).
The flag will fly whether Superintendent Montrell Greene puts it up or the conservator who takes his position when the state takes over puts it up. It will go up.

This paper is nothing but a liberal rag that is being puppeted by a few members of local government. Get some real journalists and cover the whole truth of the stories, not just what some local politician who ain’t worth his sand wants you to cover

Contract reform
Regarding the editorial “Schools need contract reform” (Sept. 29):
They put in more money last year than ever before and still $800 million more this year. Vote no on Initiative 42.
