Johnny Langdon Sr.
I worked at one job in which I was constantly harassed by my boss. I understand how Johnny Langdon Sr. feels, and I think there is some merit to what Mr. Langdon said.
However, when I chose to leave my job, I thought of the things I would say before I left. In the end, I just left. To Mr. Langdon, I hope he felt better.
Believe me, I know how it feels to work on a job for years and be treated poorly by some newcomer. Just like another writer said, Mayor Carolyn McAdams won’t be satisfied until every last person up there looks like her.

State of the Union
U.S. Sen Roger Wicker said he didn’t plan to watch the State of the Union speech by President Obama because of Mr. Obama’s threat to use executive action to get things done. Sen. Wicker says the Founding Fathers wouldn’t have envisioned anything like this at a State of the Union address.
Well, since most of the founders were slave owners, I am pretty sure they didn’t envision a black president either, but we have one in this particular situation.
Sen. Wicker should use a different yardstick to measure history by.
