Editor, Commonwealth:
I hope this letter finds you doing well.
This is not a complaint by any means. I have always enjoyed The Greenwood Commonwealth.
I was wondering if there is some sort of rotation with columnists Kathleen Parker, Cynthia Tucker and Leonard Pitts Jr. Can they be rotated with three different writers? I’m sure they are fine people. They just seem so negative most of the time.
Again, this is not a complaint or anything like that. Just wanted to know if we could hear other people’s thoughts for a while.

Editor’s note: Thanks for the feedback.
We do try on this page to provide a variety of columnists across the ideological spectrum. Cynthia Tucker and Leonard Pitts Jr. are on the left, Kathleen Parker more toward the middle. On the right, we regularly publish Cal Thomas and Rich Lowry. Most of the Mississippi-based columnists we publish are to the center or right of center.
Our desire is to expose our readers to good thinkers and talented writers from various backgrounds and perspectives. We hope that makes for a more lively exchange of ideas.
