Editor, Commonwealth:
After working with the city’s recycling effort, I found out that North Greenwood has been doing its part and keeping the environment clean and healthy. Not only that, it brings money back to the city for much-need repairs.
The director of the recycling effort, Anne Marie Gregory, showed me a display of goods that were made out of recycled material. I asked Mrs. Gregory, How would it benefit the people who take part in the recycling? She told me that not only us but the environment will be clean for our children to grow healthy lives.
The reason I asked that question is because I’m going to start a campaign to get South Greenwood to start recycling and that question will be asked. So get ready to see all of Greenwood recycling for the good of our city.
Darwin Greene, who works as the warehouse supervisor, and Brandon McGee, who is the driver for the recycling effort, told me more about how the operation works. They were very helpful.
It’s very easy to join the recycling family. Let’s help Greenwood be a better and safer place to live.
