Hillary Clinton’s email problems won’t go away. Now comes a report from the agency she headed as secretary of state that Clinton ignored clear directives that using her private email account and server to conduct federal government business was a security breach.
Clinton’s argument all the time has been that her personal server was never compromised and what she did was no different than what some of her predecessors had done before.
However, the State Department’s inspector general reports that there were hacking attempts on her private email in 2011, and that only one of her predecessors, Colin Powell, had used personal email for work, but not to the extent she did and not on a private server.
Although it’s still unlikely that Clinton will face criminal charges in the ongoing probe, she will be dogged for the rest of the presidential campaign over the lies she has told about this controversy.
