When times are so bad that you feel like giving up, there’s a blessing in the storm. The blessing comes when you least expect it. Life will have many storms, and some of those storms are so bad that they bring tears to your eyes, but I know that there are blessings in the storm.
In order for you to have your true blessings, you must have four things with you.
One is prayer. With prayer you are asking the good Lord and letting him know what you really want and need in your life. The Lord knows what you are worth, so in order to get what you are worth, you must let him know what you want so he can help you out more.
Two is to believe it can happen. When you pray for what you want and need, you must believe it can happen. You have to have faith in the Lord’s work and believe that it may not happen when you want it, but he will be there on time. For now and forever, we owe God and the world an attitude of gratitude.
Three is the ability to share your blessings with others and to thank the Lord for what he has blessed you with that day. When you give him thanks, more blessings will come to you. The Lord gives us so many blessings every day that sometimes we don’t give thanks. I know that makes the Lord sad a little.
Four is to treasure the blessings that the Lord gives you. I know that the world is going through some bad times and the storm is bad, but when you treasure your blessings with your faith in God, then you are winning half the battle.
If there is one thing we forget sometimes, that is how to forgive the people who hurt us. We have to forgive them for what they have done in order to go past the storm.
I have seen many blessings around me every day. I have seen relationships become more meaningful as people start to show more love to one another. I have seen how forgiveness helps some families come back together.
I know that relationships have their ups and downs, but it’s how you deal with the storm and how you take the hits in the storm that will help your blessings come to you. Life is nothing but a big test sometimes, and we forget that the storm in life doesn’t last forever.
We have to understand that the Lord will help us go to the top of mountains, but most of all we will have our true blessings in the storm when we believe in him and believe it can happen all the time. We may fall down, but we will get up in the storm. When we are at the mountain’s top, we have to remember how to show others how to not give up in the storm.
We have to remember that it’s a blessing to wake up in the morning. We have to remember that we may not have everything we want, but God blesses us with the things we need.
