Jere Gibert Stansel passed peacefully into the arms of the Lord on Dec. 16, 2023, at her home after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend and teacher. Jere was kind, loving, patient and gentle to the end, and an incredible example of a Godly, Southern lady.
