CARROLLTON — A man and two children were injured in a Sunday afternoon accident when the Polaris Ranger they were riding in struck a truck pulling hay on County Road 124.
Jesse Blackwell, 23, was driving the Ranger carrying Will Dodge, 6, of Brandon, and Vanda Spencer, 16, also of Brandon, on the gravel road, when it ran into the truck driven by Williams.
Deputy David Mims, who worked the accident, said it appears that Williams tried to swerve when he met the truck in a curve, but the vehicles collided on the driver's side.
Neither driver was injured, he said.
On impact, Spencer, who was not wearing a seat belt, was thrown from the vehicle. Dodge was taken by air ambulance to Tyler Holmes Hospital in Winona. She was then airlifted to another hospital.
Carver said he did not have any information on the condition of the children or what hospital they are in.
