The Salvation Army’s retail store along Mississippi 7 will reopen Friday.
The store has been closed since March 18 in the interest of social distancing because of the coronavirus outbreak.
Lt. Keisha McMullin of The Salvation Army said the store will operate three days a week for the time being — from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays.
McMullin said the following restrictions have been implemented to limit the spread of infection:
•No more than 10 customers will be allowed in the store, and each customer is limited to 20 minutes of shopping.
•Customers must wear masks.
•Children will not be allowed.
•Customers must remain 6 feet from others.
•Customers are also asked to use the hand sanitizer that will be available by the entrance.
McMullin said she wanted people to come in and shop but also be safe: “Our main priority is the safety of our customers and staff.”
