After a two-month closure due to COVID-19, the Greenwood-Leflore Public Library system will reopen to the public next month, the library system announced on its Facebook page Tuesday.
•The Greenwood-Leflore Public Library will open June 1. Its daily hours will be from 8:30 a.m. to noon and then 1 to 4 p.m.
•The Jodie E. Wilson branch will open June 15. Its daily hours will be from 9 a.m. to noon and then 2 to 5 p.m. Both of the branches will operate with the following social restrictions put in place:
•No more than 10 patrons will be allowed inside the library at a time, and only six computers will be made available for public use.
•Patrons will have no more than 30 minutes to use the computer and no more than 20 minutes to browse the library.
•Children must be accompanied by an adult.
•Patrons are encouraged to wear face masks and must maintain a 6-foot distance from other patrons. Employees will wear face masks.
•Gloves are optional.
•Curbside service will be available by appointment only.
