Washington was taken to the Greenwood Leflore Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
On July 3, Perez Love, 33, 105 East Taft St., was identified by witnesses at the club as a suspect and was immediately picked up by the Leflore County Sheriff’s Department, March said.
He has been charged with capital murder, armed robbery and aggravated assault. He had an initial appearance in court, but his hearing date has yet to be set. He remains in the Holmes County Jail with no bond.
