The Nation's Weather for Wednesday, February 21, 2024
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
A storm will continue to affect the West tomorrow, spreading
showers across much of the region. There can be steadier
rain in Southern California, as well as across Utah, Wyoming
and Colorado. Steady snow will spread across the higher
elevations of this region as well. Elsewhere across the
nation, high pressure will provide dry weather, with the
exception of a spotty afternoon shower in Illinois.
Temperatures will continue to trend well above historical
averages across the southern Plains, getting into the 70s
and 80s in Texas. Much of the northern Plains and Great
Lakes will also experience temperatures 10-15 degrees
Fahrenheit above historical averages. Despite the more mild
conditions, the sky in many places across the country will
end up with more clouds than sun.
