The Nation's Weather for Tuesday, November 23, 2021
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
Lingering rain and snow showers are expected across the
Northwest tomorrow, primarily in western Washington and
Oregon as cooler air settles into the region. Other than a
few showers, the Southwest will be largely dry, with cooler
air shuffling into Southern California after Santa Ana winds
caused temperatures to rise. Gusty winds are forecast to
blow in the Plains as mild air spreads across the area. The
South Central will be largely dry, breezy and pleasant,
while cool conditions dominate in the Southeast. Overall,
there will be calm weather for early holiday travelers for
the southeastern portion of the nation, while lake-effect
snow showers and flurries flutter across parts of the
Northeast, particularly to the southeast of the Great Lakes.
