NATIONAL SUMMARY
Through the day tomorrow, the first major snowfall event of
the season will arrive through a large portion of Kansas as
a disturbance advances from the Rockies into the central and
southern Plains. The warmer side of the storm will drag
showers into western Oklahoma and North Texas. Additional
snow will linger on the back end of the storm into Colorado,
with rain and snow showers also stretching across
southeastern Arizona. A separate storm will lead to a zone
of showers reaching from the Rio Grande Valley across the
Gulf of Mexico into central and South Florida. Most of the
rest of the nation will be dry, with high pressure
blanketing much of the land from the northern tier of the
country southward along both the East and West coasts.
