NATIONAL SUMMARY
As a storm exits the Northeast tomorrow, showers and spotty
snow can linger in the region. This storm will also bring
breezy conditions along the Atlantic coast. Conditions will
turn cooler in this region with temperatures closer to the
historical average. Meanwhile, a storm traveling across the
western United States will spread showers along with
high-elevation snow showers across much of the region. There
can be periods of steadier rain in Northern California as
well as in western Oregon and Washington. A large area of
high pressure over the central portion of the nation will
provide dry weather and plenty of sunshine with temperatures
near to just above the historical average. Temperatures will
trend above the historical average across the northern
Plains and Rockies.
