The Nation's Weather for Thursday, November 2, 2023
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
Through the day tomorrow, the first of what is expected to
be a series of storms will burst onshore in the Pacific
Northwest, bringing a swath of heavy rain into parts of
coastal Oregon, Washington state and Northern California.
Some snow should even mix in for parts of central Idaho,
Montana and northwestern Wyoming, with showers stretching
from eastern Montana and southern Idaho across central
Oregon and eastern Washington. Otherwise, a very large area
of the nation will have dry conditions as sprawling high
pressure covers a good deal of territory. Exceptions include
showers that will build from far South Florida across its
Atlantic coast and lake-effect rain and snow showers off the
eastern shores of Lake Erie and Lake Ontario.
