NATIONAL SUMMARY
A potent storm will bring showers and thunderstorms from
central and eastern Texas to much of the northern Plains and
Great Lakes tomorrow. Thunderstorms can bring heavy rain at
times in Texas. This same storm will continue to bring
periods of snow across the northern Rockies, along with a
shower or two in the Northwest, mainly during the afternoon
hours. It will turn even colder in the northern Rockies,
with temperatures as much as 25-35 degrees Fahrenheit below
the historical average. In the Southwest, seasonable
conditions will continue with plenty of sunshine. Mostly dry
weather and some sunshine will continue across the East as
high pressure remains overhead. Temperatures will continue
their upward trend with readings 10-15 degrees above the
historical average in the Northeast.
