NATIONAL SUMMARY
Showers, areas of rain and breezy conditions will continue
across the Great Lakes and Northeast tomorrow as a storm
tracks to the east over these regions. Some of this rain can
be heavy at times in northern New England. On the other side
of the country, a storm moving into the Northwest will bring
showers to the coast. These showers will spread inland
through the overnight hours. Heat will continue across the
Southwest and South Central regions, with temperatures
reaching the century mark once again in some locations as
high pressure remains overhead. It will feel much cooler
across the northern Plains with temperatures as much as 10
degrees lower than yesterday. Elsewhere across the country,
dry conditions with varying amounts of sunshine will
prevail.
