The Nation's Weather for Friday, December 24, 2021
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
In the West, a parade of storms is expected to drench
coastal areas with rain tomorrow from western Washington to
Southern California and Arizona. Mountain snow will pile up
primarily in the mountains, pushing inland into the Rocky
Mountains. To the east, snow and rain from a weak Alberta
clipper storm will fall in the Great Lakes. Most of the
Northeast is forecast to be largely dry and not as cold,
except for portions of southern New England, where some
early morning snow showers are likely. Elsewhere across the
nation will generally be dry as warmth and high winds build
into the southern Plains and even the Tennessee Valley.
Pleasant weather is expected in the Southeast.
