NATIONAL SUMMARY
Late-afternoon thunderstorms are expected to develop in
parts of Texas and up into central and eastern Oklahoma
tomorrow. Those storms are likely to intensify and expand
through much of central Texas, southern Oklahoma and western
Arkansas overnight. Flooding downpours, hail, damaging wind
gusts and an isolated tornado will all be possible. Farther
north, flooding rain will be the main concern from
southwestern Missouri to up along the Ohio River. A new
storm will come ashore in the West, with rain and snow from
Washington to Northern California. This system is expected
to largely avoid waterlogged Central and Southern
