The Nation's Weather for Thursday, November 18, 2021
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
A potent storm will continue to push farther northeastward
into Canada tomorrow. This will mean less intense wind for
the Upper Midwest. However, a breezy day is still expected
in Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana
and Ohio. Ahead of a cold front, warmth will surge northward
along the East coast from Maine to northern Florida. Along
the front, rain will stretch from upstate New York to
Tennessee. Spotty showers may dampen areas as far south as
northern portions of Mississippi, Alabama and Georgia.
Elsewhere in the Southeast, heavy rain is forecast to drench
the central and South Florida Peninsula. The rain is likely
to be heavy enough to cause localized instances of flash
flooding. Rain and mountain snow are expected to move into
the Northwest, but precipitation should be light.
