NATIONAL SUMMARY
A major storm will conclude in the Northeast tomorrow, with
snow across upstate New York and much of New England. Rain
will mix with the snow in Rhode Island, southern Connecticut
and southeastern Massachusetts. Warmer air farther south
will allow precipitation to fall as rain in far southern New
York, northern and central New Jersey and on Long Island. A
few rain and snow showers can linger in western and central
Pennsylvania. Yet another storm will slam into the West,
with more cold rain and heavy mountain snow in Washington,
Oregon and Northern California. Several feet of snow may
fall by the end of the weekend. Spotty showers may dampen
the northern and central Florida Peninsula as a cold front
stalls over the state.
