NATIONAL SUMMARY
As a large, potent storm moves eastward out of the Plains
tomorrow, snow will continue across the Upper Midwest,
including in the Twin Cities area. Just to the south,
stretching from northeastern Nebraska to northern Michigan,
freezing rain will lead to very icy surfaces and even
localized power outages. Steady rain is likely across much
of the Ohio Valley and Northeast. Farther south,
thunderstorms from the day prior will continue to track
across the Southeast, reaching Georgia and the Florida
Panhandle by evening. Damaging winds and perhaps an isolated
tornado can accompany these storms. Periods of rain will
continue along the West coast, with snow in the Great Basin.
