NATIONAL SUMMARY
Light snow will fall across Minnesota, Wisconsin and
northeastern Iowa tomorrow. Accumulations should generally
be an inch or less, although slightly more is possible from
northern Minnesota to northwestern Wisconsin. Farther south,
a swath of rain will extend from Kentucky and southern
Missouri back southwestward through North Texas. The rain
could be locally heavy in Arkansas, southern Missouri,
western Kentucky and northwestern Tennessee and may lead to
flooding problems. Meanwhile, a major storm will move into
the West with heavy rain and mountain snow. More than an
inch of rain at the coast and several feet of snow could
fall in mountains of Northern and Central California by the
end of the weekend. Elsewhere, a spotty shower or two could
dampen eastern Massachusetts.
