NATIONAL SUMMARY
A potent storm moving up the Northeast coast tomorrow will
continue to spread rain and snow to the region. Rain is
expected along the coast before transitioning to a mix and
then heavy snow up in northern New England. Behind the
storm, the wind direction will be favorable for a
lake-effect snow event. Locations downwind of the lakes in
Michigan, Pennsylvania and New York will have whiteout
conditions and hazardous driving conditions. Widespread snow
showers are expected in general from Minnesota and Iowa to
Ohio and Pennsylvania. There will also be a few more snow
showers back west in Montana and the Dakotas. A shower will
move through central Florida, but it will be dry elsewhere.
