NATIONAL SUMMARY
A few lake-effect rain showers could dampen far northwestern
Pennsylvania and parts of upstate New York tomorrow.
Meanwhile, spotty afternoon thunderstorms are expected to
develop in the deserts of southeastern California and much
of Arizona. Thundershowers will be more numerous in New
Mexico and southern Colorado and can occur at any time.
Showers will also extend into the Texas Panhandle and as far
north as western Kansas and as far east as central Oklahoma.
A spotty thunderstorm could rumble along the coast in
southeastern Florida, but most of the state should be dry
for continued cleanup in the wake of Hurricane Ian. Tropical
Storm Julia will gain strength over the central Caribbean.
Julia will continue westward and make landfall as a
hurricane in Central America Sunday.
