NATIONAL SUMMARY
Snow is likely to cause slippery roads in northeastern
Montana, northern North Dakota and northwestern Minnesota
tomorrow. A bit of snow is also expected in upstate New York
and Vermont. A zone of rain showers will set up from eastern
Oklahoma through Arkansas, Tennessee and northern
Mississippi. Farther south, a few thunderstorms could rumble
through eastern Texas, Louisiana and central Mississippi.
However, severe weather is not expected. In the Northwest,
showers will return to western portions of Washington state
and Oregon. High-elevation snow is likely to blanket the
Washington Cascades as well as northern Idaho and
northwestern Montana. While the central Plains will cool,
unseasonable warmth will continue in the Southeast. Some
locations will even approach record highs.
