NATIONAL SUMMARY
Rain will soak areas from Montana to northern Minnesota
tomorrow. Rain combining with snowmelt in western and
central North Dakota may lead to flooding. Major river
flooding will also continue along the Red River in
northeastern North Dakota and northwestern Minnesota. Gusty
winds and dry weather will lead to a high fire threat in
southeastern Colorado, much of New Mexico, southwestern
Kansas, western Oklahoma and West Texas. Severe
thunderstorms are expected to ignite late in the day from
southeastern Nebraska into eastern Kansas. The severe storms
will then affect western portions of Iowa and Missouri and
northeastern Oklahoma overnight. Temperatures will be higher
than recent days in the Northeast, but many interior
locations will begin the day below freezing.
