The Nation's Weather for Saturday, February 26, 2022
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
A much quieter regime will take hold across much of the
nation tomorrow. However, there will be a few exceptions. A
few snow showers may occur to the east of Lake Ontario, but
little to no accumulation is expected. A few ocean-effect
flurries may fly on Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard and
Nantucket during the morning hours. Occasional rain and
drizzle will dampen much of central, eastern and South
Texas. A few spotty showers are forecast farther to the
east, including central and southern Arkansas, northern and
central Louisiana and northern Mississippi. On the
northwestern fringe of the precipitation, the rain may
freeze on some surfaces in northern and north-central Texas.
Afternoon rain will come ashore in western Washington state
and northwestern Oregon.
