NATIONAL SUMMARY
Flooding rain from Nicholas is expected to continue
throughout eastern Texas and Louisiana tomorrow as high
humidity pervades the region and afternoon thunderstorms
spread across most of the Southeast. Thunderstorms are also
anticipated to move into the Northeast, and they can turn
severe from Pennsylvania to Maine. Storms can bring damaging
winds, hail and even flooding downpours into the evening.
Ahead of the storms, heat is forecast to build across the
mid-Atlantic. Heat is also expected to build in the
Southwest, mainly away from the coasts. Pleasant weather
will be experienced in the Northwest and northern Plains as
breezy and even windy conditions impact the northern
Rockies.
