Johnson festival
Regarding Charles Bowman’s letter to the editor (“Johnson festival budget is excessive,” May 3):
We all recognize the importance of tourism, and the blues does draw tourists. But if all the events are “free,” then actually all the tourists are imported and paid for by taxpayers.
