After looking at the picture “Park planting” in the Jan. 20 paper, I was dumfounded.
Greenwood Utilities was digging the holes for the crape myrtles under the power lines. The Natchez crape myrtle will grow to be over 40 feet tall. I’m sure they are planning to slaughter them every spring to keep them small.
