Gay marriage
In response to the Rev. Elmus T. Goodman’s guest column (“Gay marriage perverts the laws of nature,” July 17):
The African-American church can be so hypocritical. Black pastors are guilty of using Scripture to beat down a selective group of people instead of lifting them up.
