The Mississippi Valley State University men’s basketball team has moved its game at Southern to Wednesday at 1 p.m.
The game was originally scheduled for Monday, but due to the inclement weather, which has caused numerous power outages across the Delta, the game could not be played.
MVSU comes into the game with a 1-19 record overall and 0-6 in the SWAC while the Jaguars are 10-9 overall and 3-3 in conference play.
The women’s game was played Thursday with the Jaguars (9-8, 5-1) taking a 69-46 win over the Delta Devilettes (4-14, 3-4) in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Saturday's doubleheader at Grambling State, featuring both the women’s and men’s teams, was been postponed to Feb. 23 inside the Frederick C. Hobdy Assembly Center.
