Man charged with robbery

A man has been charged with robbery after turning himself in to Greenwood police Wednesday.
Police Chief Terrence Craft said Cordarius Hudson, 21, of Greenwood is charged with one count of robbery. He was being held Wednesday at the Leflore County Jail with bond set at $30,000.

Missing man’s remains believed to be found

Man found guilty of attempting to kill judge

Marvin Ivey was found guilty Wednesday of breaking into Neysha Sanders’ home and attempting to kill the Leflore County Justice Court judge two years ago.
It took a Leflore County jury a bit more than an hour to return the verdict after a day-and-a-half of testimony.
