Man wounded multiple times in drive-by shooting

A 19-year-old man has been hospitalized with multiple wounds sustained in a drive-by shooting early Wednesday morning.
Cornelius Morrow, 19, of Greenwood is in stable condition at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, a cousin, Clarissa Griffin-Gary, said on Thursday.

Man shot, killed Saturday in Greenwood

A Greenwood man was shot and killed on Saturday afternoon.
Leflore County Coroner Debra Sanders said Adrain Henderson, 41, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was found at 1014 Payton Ave. She said Henderson lived only a couple of houses away from that address, at 1017 Payton Ave.

2nd man charged in fatal shooting

The Greenwood Police Department has charged a second man with murder in the April 1 shooting death of Accardo Willis.
U.S. Marshals apprehended Keldrick Jackson, 19, 809 East McLaurin St., on Wednesday evening. Jackson was booked into the Leflore County Jail.
