A man said he was hit on the back of the head and robbed of $2,500 Wednesday afternoon while trying to buy a car in Sidon.
The Leflore County Sheriff’s Department is now searching for two men — one who was driving a light blue Chevrolet Malibu and a second driving a black Malibu.

Man charged in connection with shooting

A 27-year-old Greenwood man has been charged in connection with a shooting that took place Wednesday afternoon at the Hampton Inn.
Laderrius West was arrested Wednesday and charged with shooting into a dwelling.
