Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at Century Funeral Home.

Examiner objects to bankruptcy request

The examiner in Express Grain Terminals President John Coleman’s bankruptcy case has objected to Coleman’s request to convert the case from Chapter 11 to Chapter 7, according to a document submitted in federal court Tuesday.

The Greenwood High School football team was one of 13 across the state that were placed on probation by the Mississippi High School Activities Association for a violation of practicing earlier in pads than allowed.
